Overview

Vanderbilt's freshman acceptance rate has fallen into the low single digits, but its transfer pathway remains far more accessible — recent cycles have landed in the high-teens to low-20s, with roughly 550–700 students admitted out of applicant pools between 2,900 and 3,200.

Vanderbilt only offers a fall transfer option. Applicants are strongly encouraged to meet the February 15 priority deadline, though the university continues reviewing applications on a rolling basis until May 1. • For Peabody College applicants, a declared major and fit for that specific program; for Blair School of Music, a required audition
