Overview

Tufts' transfer acceptance rate has historically swung widely, from as low as 7% to as high as 28% in past cycles, but the most recent data shows the rate tightening considerably — down to around 11% for fall 2025, much closer to Tufts' roughly 10% freshman acceptance rate than in prior years.

Tufts only offers a fall transfer option and does not allow mid-year or spring admission.
